Sytney

We went out to woolshed that night and met loads of people from our tour there. It was a massive trek back to the hostel and we had to get up really early to catch our flight to Sydney. Got the train to Liverpool station and then got picked up by some of my fam who we were going to be staying with for the next few days. We had that night just relaxing etc. The next day we went into the centre and met up with Chris and Caitlin and did some sightseeing with them - fun! It's so weird seeing people you know in different places around the world. We saw the harbour bridge, the opera house, the botanic gardens and darling harbour. That evening we had dinner with some of Flo's family friends by the opera house which is cool - there was a cool lights festival going on which meant that loads of awesome lights were projected onto the opera house every night - it was so pretty. After dinner we met Flo's friend Dave or 'Maple' as everyone called him and went to an ultimate frisbee uni party which was so much fun, mainly because Florence ended up breaking a wall in the girl's house who we had never met before. Hilarious. We stayed the night there and then went and had yum cha for breakfast with Dave which was so good and then we got the ferry across to Manly where we met our friend Maria from our Whistundays boat trip. We generally hung out there for a bit and ate loads of food as there was a food and wine festival going on.

The next day we got a train to the Blue Mountains. We got there and it was FREEZING. Checked into our hostel and then went to Echo Point and had a look at the 3 sisters at sunset. Pretty good. The next day we went for a walk through Launa forest, up the giant stairway to the 3 sisters and then to some falls which was awesome. Amazing views. We got the train back that afternoon. On Tuesday I went to Bondai beach while florence visited some old lady she knew and I met here there later. It was really nice, though quite cold. That evening we went to a pub quiz which was fun though made us realise how little knowledge we have.
